The Music of the New York Times

The Music Of The New York The Times The New Yorker magazine has revealed that the magazine’s music editor and managing editor have both worked on the magazine since it was founded in 1878.
Holly O’Connor, a music editor who also edited the magazine for 20 years, and Nick Bagnall, a managing editor who wrote the music for the Times for 18 years, have been on the staff since the company’s founding.
The two men were both hired by The Times in the 1980s.
“They both knew that it was a challenge to maintain that quality of journalism,” Times publisher and publisher-in-chief, Gary Pruitt, said in a statement to The New Republic.
Pruitt also confirmed that the duo will be on the Times staff for two years.
He also said the Times will publish the music from its archives in 2017, adding that the Times has been working with music historians and preservationists to ensure that all of its music is preserved.
